The only thing Musk did for Tesla was give these 2 guys $ from his PayPal buy out, in which Elon fucked everyone else involved too

Elon is a POS

[-] SupraMario@lemmy.world -2 points 1 year ago

Elon is a lot of things but Tesla wouldn't have taken off with just these two. Elon is just the Steve Jobs of Tesla...and no amount of hate for the guy is going to change that. These two had no plans to mass market the car or build a company from it.

Read my comment again, but this time as if it had one of those /s things the yanks are so reliant on

[-] n3m37h@lemmy.dbzer0.com 3 points 1 year ago

Canadian here and I prefer the /s because there are too many morons out there. And sarcasm doesn't translate over text unless you know said person. So just use /s. Is it really that hard?

It wasn't sarcasm. If I were being sarcastic you see eeehhh? I woulda said boyo, you being a wise guy eeehhh?

[-] someguy3@lemmy.ca 0 points 1 year ago

Then add the /s. Sarcasm doesn't transfer well over text.

[-] Mr_Blott@feddit.uk -5 points 1 year ago

It does if you have reading comprehension more advanced than a seven year old

[-] someguy3@lemmy.ca 2 points 1 year ago

I guarantee you there are people that think what you posted. But if you want to be unclear and blame others, ok.

[-] Mr_Blott@feddit.uk -4 points 1 year ago

Oh my god I've just realised the /s is the internet equivalent of laugh tracks on "comedy" programs

[-] someguy3@lemmy.ca 2 points 1 year ago* (last edited 1 year ago)

That's pretty smart.

Sarcasm or not? You don't know.

[-] Mr_Blott@feddit.uk -3 points 1 year ago

You missed the point. I'll just take it as sarcasm until proven otherwise

[-] someguy3@lemmy.ca 2 points 1 year ago

I think taking everything as sarcasm will go well!

[-] Mr_Blott@feddit.uk -3 points 1 year ago

You clearly didn't grow up in the UK lol

[-] someguy3@lemmy.ca 1 points 1 year ago

Whoosh! Which proves my point.
