That's the risk you run buying into the whole crapple ecosystem.
It's not just Apple though, is it? I suspect the vast majority of Windows users are logged in with a Microsoft account, and every Android phone uses a Google account. Sure, there are those of us who use Linux for our computers, and Graphene/Lineage on our phones, but we're a tiny minority.
You can use an Android phone without logging in to your Google account.
I tried this a few years ago.
And even if you do use an MS account to log into Windows, can they really lock you out of your own hardware? i use local account and I will never log into Windows with an MS account.
