it's just simple and fast. handles images really well also. I've tried pretty much every terminal out there and I always end up back on Foot. works really well also if you use it with tmux. Wezterm is good too but it's got a lot going on with it and can be a bit slow. The only other terminal I really like is Konsole.
You tried kitty? Ive used all terminals and I always come back to kitty. Its just so fast and reliable. But yeah, no image support i think.
kitty has this owm image support since the version 0.28
