MODERATORS
i have this idea that communities should be created due to some actual pressure... as a solution to a group needing a home away from some general purpose stream... like when star trek memes took over the main memes channels and thus, required that signal be extracted into its own community...
you cant just build a community and hope the content creators will come.. they must already need a home.
But if even one lemmy user finds this community and starts writing as a result, it’s an impact.
