its a decades in the making by right wing/oil propaganda, the industry backed "eco-protestors that are defacing public properties" were primarly funded by oil/gas industry in order to turn the public against protesting. just like they did with funding "companies that tell you to buy thier eco-friendly products, so they dont have to reduce thier own co2 emissions or lower thier carbon footprint.
