You see, THIS is a far better example, than whatever you intended to do in my conversation with an actual asshole.

I am also partial to Animal Farm, because who doesn't love an allegory to bourgeois abuse?

You can evoke justifiable anger at the correct targets without grossing your readers away.

Unless you really meant to patronize me.

Are you trying positive reinforcement with my Internet etiquette? It doesn't work great when you do it with affective contempt.

I thought you were being ironic when you said you know art can evoke emotions but you were mad about the specific emotions this art evokes.

I am trying to comprehend your intent.
If we are both art enjoyers, that comprehend art can evoke emotions with comprehension of your audience in mind, why can you evoke disenfranchisement while I can't?

I try to keep good company without trying to offend my income, so no, I am not going to attempt to disenfranchise my commissioners.

But you do you!✌️

I will. My dick-breathing dragon prints are a top seller with judge-judy tarot coming in a close second. People like being mildly offended, just look at these comments.

Good luck, truly. The world needs artists. I only downvoted you after you called our friend there an asshole, which I didn't think was cool, otherwise I enjoyed our debate.

Edit: Pig was about raising people to be disempowered by shielding them from negativity, and how it does them a disservice. I struggle to find a strong allusion to class struggle, since the primary theme is the danger of being naive.

>debating, in the comic strips community

’baitbro, you're in the wrong instance

You can end your grasps.

[-] Icytrees@sh.itjust.works 1 points 1 month ago

Did you not respond to me in a new thread to like... continue this debate? Almost like art can trigger strong emotions.

And here I was trying to be polite, following one of the rules of the comic strips community.

I am absolutely certain your definition of debate differs quite drastically than what this entire community qous it means.

I can justifiably name people by the behavior they act upon. Unless you like renaming actions we can witness on our own. Am I an asshole for calling an asshole an asshole?

[-] Icytrees@sh.itjust.works 1 points 1 month ago

That would be neat to see how the comic strip community defines a debate.

If anyone sees this and feels like answering, how would you define a debate?

Anyway, anyone can call someone an asshole, for sure. I didn't call you call you an asshole, I said it wasn't a cool, because one of the community rules is to be polite.
