January 1st, 2026: Happy New Year
Very happy with this shave. Yesterday I focused on a larger angle and today I focused on whatever feels good. That's the approach I take with DE shaving and it works great. Not having to think about angle requires experience with any given shaving method, and I'm 1 shave away from transitioning from beginner (sub-100) to not beginner (100+) with straight razors!
Today is New Years Day. The RC club that I belong to has an annual event which we went to today. It was very cold and there was 3" of fresh snow on the runway, but I managed to get a couple of flights in! The wind was also very strong, but as the saying goes "the wind is your friend".
