My brother-in-law also refuses to use adblockers. He prefers to pay YouTube to not enshittify his watching experience. How a man on disability can justify that cost I do not know.
Its a fair mentality, but there doing it wether you pay them or not
Giving them money just provokes further entshittification, because it gives them pointers as to what kind of shittification they can charge money for.
