Keep in mind the lifespan of burned DVDs isn't great. Like if you're backing up stuff, don't make it your only copy. Can't begin to tell you how much stuff I lost over the years because burned DVDs were going bad before they even faded from popularity.
They have these more expensive ones called M-Disc which are supposed to be longer lasting
Admittedly, I am out of touch with what the current offerings are. I don't think I've burned a disc in more than 10 years now.
