Anon tells a true story
(lemmy.world)
This is a place to share greentexts and witness the confounding life of Anon. If you're new to the Greentext community, think of it as a sort of zoo with Anon as the main attraction.
Be warned:
If you find yourself getting angry (or god forbid, agreeing) with something Anon has said, you might be doing it wrong.
Can confirm. Got more actual dates with people that are legitimately interested in me from psychiatric hospitals and group therapy than online dating apps.
A lot of people come across way better in person than via text. Also, everybody takes their best photos and puts them up so when you meet them, they always look a little different than you expected, and that's always a moment of awkwardness. If you meet someone in person they have no priors and it can just be you. Apps can work too, but the ghosting is a constant emotional drain.
