Descriptions/Content Warnings:
Panty & Stocking with Garterbelt (24 minutes): An animated series about two angels who were kicked out of heaven for bad behavior and have to earn their way back by hunting demons. Panty is a sex addict and Stocking is a goth princess addicted to food.
- CW: Lots of low-brow lewd humor, jokes about sex, jokes about overeating, jokes about poop, jokes about abortion, etc. It's not too over the top in my opinion but maybe not everyone's cup of tea.
The High School Heroes (48 minutes): Fun and heartwarming tokusatsu mini-series about high school students in Japan who become super heroes. Has a great trans-coming-out subplot that seems to be handled very well.
- CW: Nothing I'm aware of. Monsters?
Tremors (1990, 97 minutes): Group of people in a small town battle worm monsters.
- CW: Some gore and scary worm things. Sleeveless Kevin Bacon in a cowboy hat might be too intense for some viewers. Not much else to worry about as far as I'm aware.
The first time I tried watching PASWG was many years ago and I didn't enjoy it at all then. I'm willing to give it a second shot, though.
Just curious was it English or Japanese audio?
I'm pretty sure it was the English dub. This would've been in my very early days as an anime fan where I didn't mind subs but always watched dubs if they were available.
Ah ok. The English dub of this is actually the better version imo. Please feel free to let me know what your thoughts are on it.

Yep. The English VA is pretty well done on this and the jokes imo are better than with subs.
I do think that anime dubs are often kinda underrated.
