Why is the search worse?

I think there was a plasma desktop version that changed how the search works. Ever since this happened, the results that really matter are not being displayed first, which makes the navigation slower and counterintuitive.
It would be great to if there is a way to keep files but move it to the bottom
It is horrible that they always put files and folder first knowing that people search for app and settings.
