Yes.

But I heard that in just a few billion more dollars the AI will be better than veteran humans at site reliability engineering, in spite of l the evidence, and rh laws of physics.

I guess it sure is forward looking of them to burn billions of dollars to save a few hundred thousand on paying an expert.
