Rules
- Keep it civil.
- This is a forum for discussion about Mlem. We welcome a degree of general chatter, but anything not related to Mlem may be removed at moderator discretion. This is not a forum for iPhone/Android debate. Posts and comments saying nothing but "iOS bad/I use Android" will be removed as off-topic.
- We welcome constructive criticism, but ask that it be both precise and polite.
FAQ
- When will insert feature here be implemented?
- Check our issue board--if there isn't an issue open for the feature you want, feel free to open an issue or make post! Just remember that devs are people too--we're doing this for free in our spare time, and building a quality app takes a lot of patient work.
- Is Mlem available for Android?
- No. Mlem is written using SwiftUI, which is not currently supported on Android. If such support becomes available, we will look into bringing Mlem to our Android friends.
- How do I join the beta?
- How do I join the dev team?
- Head over to our recruitment channel, or go straight to our GitHub and read CONTRIBUTING.md to get started.

MODERATORS
Can anyone get into the TestFlight? I've beta tested every iOS since iOS 10 (public betas though, and the last couple were dev betas when they stopped charging for those).
I thought Toast was an Android feature. I don't think I've seen it used for iOS dev. I assume it means the same thing. Context implies it does. (Looking at the rules, please don't mistake that for "iOS bad, I use Android"! I do use Android but my daily driver is an iPhone. My Android phone is turned off and sitting by my chair. But I've used Android since 2010 and iOS since 2016 (and beta tested a bunch of custom ROMs back in the ICS/Jellybean/Kitkat days (when Android was more fun IMO)).)
Mlem fully supports PieFed features? I applied to join a PieFed instance earlier. Waiting to see if I get in.
The link is in the about tab, but [here it is](https://testflight.apple.com/join/W6ajfKQt Mlem for Lemmy).
No, but they are being added almost as fast as the APIs are opened for them to be added. Polls were added in the last update (the one prior to this). Currently there is no emoji reaction support, piefed flairs do not work, no groups (I am sure this is more I am missing mostly because I have only used piefed via Mlem.*
Thanks! I'm installing it now.
It automatically opened in TestFlight for Mac and I backed out of installation and it's like "aw, you don't wanna try it? Mind telling us why?" and I'm not sure if that's from Mlem or Apple. I meant to use an extension in Firefox to generate a QR code to the URL, scan it with my camera, and open it in my iPhone. (I keep forgetting I can just copy the link, and then paste it on the iPhone.)
That’s from Apple—thanks for letting us know, I’ll see if I can turn it off because that’s a pretty obnoxious popup
Yes it supports Piefed. It has user notes and polls.
