The government said its "parental leave and pay review is under way and will conclude in early 2027".

Apparently the unfairness isn’t immediately clear from the facts alone. It will take some committee a full year to recognize something screamingly obvious… and that’s the optimistic take. They might decide things are fine the way they are.
