What's wrong with russian roulette?
I played it once and didn't die

[yellow is now smiling harder, in a creepy way, gun in hand]
That must mean it's safe

You left this reply ten times. Maybe cull some of those repeats

Calling me illiterate when you can't even proofread your own comments.

Well but you are illiterate, clearly, not even knowing the difference between "can" and "will".

Big fuckin balls on you though, bragging about how you could totally beat me in a duel lmao

I'm not saying I totally could. You could be twice my size. But I'd fucking like to, because most likely you're either a fat cunt who can't lift his own arse to go to the fridge or somehow else very physically unappealing, which probably made you run away into the internet.

But clearly you go with the band wagon.

It's literally going into four different communities on three different instances.

No, it shouldn't. It should be posted to one relevant community.

Otherwise we'd have nothing but cross-posts and the Fediverse is already too monotonous.

You'll only see all four if you're browsing /all,

Because a person interested in news would never subscribe to several news communities, or a person interested in art wouldn't subscribe several art communities?

Jesus fucking hell think before you post. And you wonder why I think you're stupid pheeww

So it was intentional. That's really embarrassing for you, for the reason that I said in my comment.

When did I mix up can and will?

Because a person interested in news would never subscribe to several news communities, or a person interested in art wouldn't subscribe several art communities?

Ok, I amend: you also take on the burden of seeing crossposts when you're subscribed to multiple communities with overlapping topics. I guess if you're a big fan of OP and subscribr to both of their home communities, and also both of the comic communities this is posted in, you could see all four posts without browsing /all.

When did I mix up can and will?

Oh, so you can't proofread your comments when saying I can't proofread mine?

To be clear, I can.

I just can't be arsed most of the time. I write on mobile and go for speed over accuracy on Lemmy

Ok, I amend: you also take on the burden of seeing crossposts when you're subscribed to multiple communities with overlapping topics

So we should take care to only be subbed to the best and official community on the Fediverse, and none other?

And you don't see how that's rhetorically ridiculous if your aim is to have Lemmy grow and be unlike Reddit?

Clearly you don't go for quality either.

So we should take care to only be subbed to the best and official community on the Fediverse, and none other?

I guess so. You definitely shouldn't be capable of tolerating seeing the same post twice without crashing entirely out. That would be reasonable. And less entertaining for me personally.

The best method to grow Lemmy is wholly irrelevant to the fact that OP is objectively not spamming. They posted their comic exactly once in each relevant community.

Edit to add: maybe Lemmy would be more capable of growing if we didn't have the most insufferable user base on any social media platform on the internet

[-] Dasus@lemmy.world -1 points 3 weeks ago

Rhetorical quality and proofreading aren't in the same category. For you to not understand that suggests a slight lack of understanding about what "rhetoric" actually means.

"Crashing out"? Oh we're doing strawmen? Okay. So let me adjust... Got it.

Okay, so someone posting 1000000000 times in a second is a reasonable topic of calm criticism.

Long texts don't mean heated moods. In fact, I've noted that usually the ones who are really heated moods have really a very hard time indeeed saying more than a few simple words like this guy:

You can't say OP isn't objectively spamming, because he posted something that was on my frontpage of all several times in a row. Not twice. More.

Had he waited even an hour between those, it would've not been subjectively spammy to me.

Homework: Learn the meanings and differences between "subjective" and "objective

Friend, this thread has like 100 comments in it and you make up like half of them. You are crashing out. You've posted that screenshot like 5 times as many times as OP posted their comic. You made ten copies of the same inane reply to the same comment as if that was in any way analagous to OP posting their comic multiple times in multiple different communities.
