In a mud, I played a fisher cat person, whose only weapon skill was a sling. And boy howdy if you were accurate animals just fucking dropped. I'd usually hunt rabbits with it and they could be one shot kills. The deer like creatures would usually take a few hits but I once got a headshot and it was just gone. No slowly walking towards it while slinging, it was just down.
