Sunderland has been mistreated and ignored for decades by successive governments. The population is either devoutly red or right wing leaning. Poverty, deprivation poor housing, unemployment and lack of investment make Sunderland a barrel full of fish for Farge to shoot in. This will be a difficult one. Shoulders up, warm vests on and clear voices required!
