Disclaimer that while I’m very much “into” art and hold my share of snobby opinions, movies are not a medium I engage much in. My tastes are quite basic and I’m not hard to impress. That being said…

Wow! The movie was amazing! Me and the missus want a Rocky plushy yesterday! It’s so refreshing to see a story like this that is unapologetically hopeful and anchored in cooperation and empathy without falling back on either cruel “grimdark” or marvel quip snark (unlike that THMP’s writing is actually funny). My gf read the book a while back and she thought the movie was an excellent adaption.

Thoughts? Am I a schmuck for liking it as much as I did?

I haven’t seen the movie yet, but I have read the book. I’m curious to see if the ending is expanded upon further. Not that it was rushed, but

Tap for spoiler

there was a slight lack of closure at the end, from what I recall.
