A gaming community free from the hype and oversaturation of current releases, catering to gamers who wait at least 12 months after release to play a game. Whether it's price, waiting for bugs/issues to be patched, DLC to be released, don't meet the system requirements, or just haven't had the time to keep up with the latest releases.

Norland is rimworld but you only control the leaders of your camp and they have kids and die like CK.
Early access, so not very patient of gaming lol
From what I see it's been in EA for over a year, so it could be argued it may be patient gaming
Do I care? Not really.
Anyway, thanks for providing the name. I've checked it on Steam and I'd rather stick to CK2 for now.
This convo reminded me of Lords and Villeins. https://store.steampowered.com/app/1287530/Lords_and_Villeins/
I've only seen, not played it, so I can't say what's it's actually like. But the description talks about managing families, so it may be worth checking out. However, you should check the reviews, just in case it fails to deliver.
Looks more like Prison Architect than a grand strategy, but thanks for the suggestion nonetheless
I have totally missed the subreddit name, hah.
