Meanwhile, here in California we've got so many Democrats running for governor, we are almost certain to have a MAGA governor of the worst kind.

Honestly? Fucking good. I’m so sick to death of the neoliberal agenda that the establishment remainder of the party is desperately clinging to while their shit policies and political spine has turned even the most wholesome everyday Americans into people who are considering fascism. The truth of the matter at hand is the most bitter medicine: 1/3 of Americans tried to do the right thing be it voting genuinely for Harris or against Trump. The other 2/3 either didn’t participate or wanted him for whatever reason. Californians have had one of the strongest economies in the world. We’re such a strong market that our own environmental standard laws end up influencing the rest of the country (IE gas mileage and pollution) but when it comes to the ballot box we get fuck all treatment at the national level. So now the boy king neolib is finally done rising through the ranks of Californian politics and is hoping to be coronated by the remaining cusp of neolibs in power at the DNC as the front runner in 28, and because we can’t have nice things in California a vast array of candidates from a fucking billionaire who won’t shut the #@&! Up about progressive he is but couldn’t humble himself even once in the past 12 years I’ve been hearing about him to hold as much as one term in city counsel (he just wants to buy his way in like the rest of these fucks) to an east bay local congressmen who fucking dated a Chinese national who turned out to be an intelligence officer and who has taken a ton of AIPAC money. To everything in between.

I don’t feel great about the governors race because really it’s probably gonna end in the fucking sheriff winning. I say give it to Katie porter but even that feels like eating a burger that’s well past done. It’s edible but it’s gonna be disgusting going down.

It’s a shame what California has to offer up politically these days. Such a shame.
