An international (English speaking) socialist Lemmy community free of the “ML” influence of instances like lemmy.ml and lemmygrad. This is a place for undogmatic shitposting and memes from a progressive, anti-capitalist and truly anti-imperialist perspective, regardless of specific ideology.

As someone who has worked multiple jobs for 4-5 years at once well attending college and not having kids at time. I can confidently say single parents with multiple jobs must be superhuman and demand deep respect.
But also fuck that and no one should have to work multiple jobs. When I had to do it, I had maybe 3 hours a day I was not sleeping to myself and I had to use that time for schoolwork, cooking dinner, washing myself. If I didn't keep telling myself "this will only be temporary until I graduate" I'd probably off myself, because it was fucking horrible. I felt and looked like the walking dead, lost all my friends because I was "unavailable" and the tiny joy I got was beating off strictly for the endorphins to make it another day.
