Boss: “Everyone, calm down. Gary was well within his rights to kill Kevin. But since we’re on a crunch, Gary has also volunteered to pick up Kevin’s workload.”
Y’all think there'd be a ”Boss” still? And a CEO to care if the work gets done? That seems like part of the comedy to me.
Kind of the whole thing behind Purge (its been a while, so I don't remember if this was the first or what) was that the CEOs and other very wealthy would hide themselves away while people killed each other, as a distraction from their own terrible actions throughout the year.
So yeah, it was kind of the point that there would be a boss still after the purge.
