Hell no in that case I aint taking the money. If a cop left a wallet with that much money its probably because they're running some sick prank to try to get some poor soul arrested.
I think he meant cops are not honest and will just pocket the money themselves instead of looking for the owner
Oh yeah they would 100% do that, hell they would do that if the wallet was inside your own home
