There’s no crisis, people are stabbed all the time, this is manufactured consent. The idea that there is a correlation between this and pensioners with signs is preposterous. Especially from a Home Secretary who appears to be a terrorist by her own definition

I think when people get stabbed it often makes national news, and that's even more true when there is a terrorist motivation, which appears to be the case with these two Jewish men being stabbed.

Anyway, I think people should absolutely be free to protest against Israel's bombing of Gaza, and other awful things done by Israel's government and military.

However, I think it might be right to limit expressions of hatred based on ethnicity or religion. Whether it's hatred towards Jews, towards Muslims, towards Christians, towards black people, towards white people, etc.

'Terrorist'? But Zionism isn't terrorism? Is the key your approval or the color of the actor?

I think they're saying a person who got stabbed, which people do, just happened to be a zio shit bag.

Which was going yohappen given how fuckers be stabbing.

They're saying there wasn't necessarily a corellation between the being zio scum and the being stabbed.

Are all zionists "scum"? Here's a definition of "zionism" I found:

a political movement that had as its original aim the creation of a country for Jewish people, and that now supports the state of Israel

I know some people think that Zionism is bad because it's supposedly a settler-colonialist idea, but you could argue that many of today's countries are similar. The USA and Australia were both colonised by Europeans, much of modern Russia was colonised by people from around Moscow, much of China (e.g. Tibet) is basically under the colonial rule of Beijing.

Maybe the important thing is for people in Israel and Palestine to be able to live in peace, and ideally in a free and fair democracy. Whether that's in a single state, or in two states, or some other configuration.

That definition is from a century or more ago. Now its the much worse son of Nazism. Fuck off disingenuous zionazi. A single surviving Zionist is incompatible with a peaceful just or sustainable world.

Fuck off

If you're incapable of having a rational discussion then what's the point in saying anything? All you're signalling is that you're a moron.

Zionism is an ethno-supremacist ideology, yes all zionists are scum. There was never 'a land without people for a people without land', Israel was always a genocidal project.

I'm not saying Israelis need to be eradicated, but yes anyone who supports zionism is scum.

"A country for Jewish people" is an inherently ethno-supremacist concept.

Judaism can be converted to, right? So it's not just an ethnicity.

Therefore if you think "a country for Jewish people" is very bad then what about "a country for Muslim people"? Is everyone who supports the existence of Saudi Arabia or Iran "scum", for example?

My position is that supporting the existence of a religious country doesn't necessarily make a person "scum". I wouldn't fully agree with the views of such people (since I prefer secular countries with full freedom of religion and belief) but I'm not going to regard them all as "scum".

[-] Koarnine@pawb.social 1 points 1 day ago* (last edited 1 day ago)

Yes fuck Saudi Arabia, you wouldn't support the USA being a 'country for christians', and furthermore, Israel is not just for jews, its explicitly a jewish supremacist nation, but in practice its an ethnosupremacist nation. The people on top there are 'white people', ashkenazi jewish only, all other jewish of other ethnicities are descriminated against also. They literally forcefully sterilized converted jews from northern africa. So yes, Israel IS an ethnosupremacist state.

But either way, no country should be 'exclusively for one religion' that is an inherently scum mentality. Especially when the country is formed on top of another country that has a different religion, that necessitates genocide.

Especially when used to imperialist ends like Israel does. Saudi Arabia and Israel are very similar. Iran is very different, though I still don't support the IRGC, the country itself isn't close to ethnosupremacist in the way Israel and Suadi Arabia are. Israel is an apartheid state, supporting it means you support dehumanizing not only palestinians, but lebanese, turkish, egyptians and all arabs, black people and even iranians (who aren't arabs).

Also a country shouldn't it be 'exclusively for one ethnicity' I disagree with Japan being an ethnostate too.

As I said previously, I definitely prefer secular states with full freedom of religion and freedom of belief. On the question of ethnicity, I hope all countries will treat people as individuals (regardless of ethnicity), rather than discriminate on the basis of ethnicity.

But I just think that if you assume that all supporters of "a country for Jewish people" are scum then surely you'd also have to say that all supporters of "a country for Muslim people" are scum too. I think quite a lot of people in the world support the existence of explicitly Muslim states, but I don't think all those people are "scum".

It might be fair to call Netanyahu scum though, as well as Itamar Ben-Gvir and Bezalel Smotrich.
