Mythos is made by Anthropic, not OpenAI.
They haven't claimed to be in the possession of AGI no matter how nicely that would fit your narrative.
You are simply wrong. Anthropic specifically has been caught extensively lying about their chatbot capabilities.
An Anthropic executive claimed his chatbot had feelings (as an excuse to harass LGBT people).
