Hello, i was wondering if there are any good indie games on steam to try out. Can be free or paid, i don't mind if there's no native linux build either (i play stuff with wine/proton anyways lol) and i don't mind the genre. I've been thinking of trying something new as of recent so i thought i might ask it here.

My favorites are:

Outer Wilds, Silksong (& HK), Hades 1 & 2, Nine Sols, Blue Prince, Subnautica, Dave the Diver, Return of the Obra Dinn, Papers Please, Inscryption, Baba is You and Factorio.

Some of these are not recent though.

Outer Wilds is an absolute masterpiece, easily in my top 10 (perhaps even top 5) games of all time. The DLC is amazing too. The rest of the games you mentioned are also good.
