I understand the reality of it, and yes that is their thought process. I don’t believe that coding will stay the same, however there needs to be thought put into it by a human.

I think, eventually, there has to be a certain level of automation or standardization of structural components of code that can be written by AI. But the point is not to replace all coding, but rather, AI being a tool to be used in a specific, and controlled method.

A problem with all the corporations is they aren’t developers, and they don’t know AI is just another tool. It was sold as a solution to a problem they didn’t know they had until it was marketed to them as a problem.

It’s being used as a scapegoat to fire expensive labor and replace it with cheap international labor under the guise of AI. They overhired and are changing from social media to social control, as designed by the government.

Well, international labor is apparently driving Waymo “self driving” cars instead of AI, so you might not be too far off ;)
