Lightning ports are more rigid than USB-C ports, in my opinion. Even USBs are implemented universally, I can still vouch Apple for making their proprietary port lasted a decade. It's a testament of time. I've never heard, read, or experience damaged Lightning Port since its inception.

USB-C port ng laptop at Redmi Note 11 ko, naglo-loss na. Itong third-hand iPad 6 ko, parang brand new pa ang port, ang sarap saksakan. lol
