X revokes paid blue check from United Auto Workers after strike called
(arstechnica.com)
This is a most excellent place for technology news and articles.
The real story here is that a union was willingly giving money to Elon Musk
That is not the real story at all. Unions work with organisations, that's the point.
What do you think the function of a union is?
the union doesn't defend worker rights, workers do, the union is an organizational structure to assist and organize the striking workers both inwardly facing and externally facing, and part of that external facing is paying $7 to have the blue checkmark.
and you certainly don't "hire" a union
Damn, well they shouldn't buy any Internet services, cars or bikes made from a corporation then. Unionists are going to walk to work less they be hypocrites.
It's silly to think you can participate in the economy without dealing with a corporation.
Don't worry, my example included both goods and services. Or does Internet service provider not count as a service?
