This is all I could find. You asserted that he "stealing peoples paperwork and forcing them to work it off is akin to slavery". That isn't collaborated anywhere that I know of. From everything I can tell is that he served his time, paid his dues and now is a very good advocate for social justice. I'll take it.
Additionally, I'm assuming this is the correct guy. I don't know that it is, but I'm assuming so for the sake of simplicity.
That said, his statements stand and fall on their own merit. Who says them doesn't make much of a difference. David Duke could have said that Black people are systematically oppressed in america and he would be 100% correct even though he's a monster.
