Damn, didn't realize it was their first. It's really well made for a first go.
Yes, and they tried some really fun stuff. Like the multicoloured blood - it's plain as day that it's blood, but it fits amazingly well with the vibe of the show, making it look surreal and fun instead of heavy gore.
I hope that they work their issues out, and keep releasing anime series like this.
