Salt Lake City kicked off the city's Fourth of July weekend with its drone show instead of a fireworks display on Saturday.

I wish this would catch on, because fireworks suck. It wouldn't stop the assholes in neighborhoods from shooting them off though, since fireworks will be probably be cheaper and easier for individuals for a long time.

Just last night a bunch of assholes started shooting off fireworks at midnight in the park down the street, louder than even on the fourth, scaring our cat shitless.
