It's time for another fire-risk recall from the Korean duo! Yet another problem for their infamous decade of vehicles '10-'19 roughly. Skipping immobilizers, undersized wiring (fire), leaking brake fluid (fire), garbage GDI 4-cyl engines (fire), leaking high pressure fuel pumps (fire), trailer wiring defects (fire) and more just weren't enough. Now another brake fluid leak in the braking system can cause another short and cause a fire.

The "fix" is a fuse replacement. It doesn't fix the actual leak so it's a band-aid at best. But also par for the course for the duo.

Oh no, someone is excited about their toy but made the mistake of trying to be clever about it in public. Let's try to shame him so we can feel better about ourselves.

You're an amazing person with a clever and totally unique comment. Nice going! Here's a gold star. ⭐

Honestly, I figured you were being sincere about not loving your children as much as an inanimate object.

I appreciate that.

My kids tell me they can't always tell when I'm being sarcastic or not as well. I mean there is that backwards question mark to identify what is and isn't sarcasm but hell if I know how to type it...!?

How was it clever? The Hyundai is your wife’s car and you were very clear about the Corvette being yours. You do know that if Hyundai recalls cars they made they don’t also take away your Chevrolet product, right? You just shoved your ‘Vette in dry and got mad when we didn’t enjoy it; I hope that’s just restricted to your approach to humour.

Comedy isn’t for everyone but humility is always a good look. Should try it some time.

I said I tried to be clever which I thought implies I failed. And since it's a recall on fire and Hyundai is recommending parking these vehicles outside then my car would be at risk of also catching fire. Unless I no longer know how fire works.

What am I missing?

I actually understood the joke, not sure how the above person didn't lol, I get it why you're excited, corvettes are pretty badass, definitely one of my favorite looking cars!

My uncle actually tried to leave me his Corvette but my parents rejected it, to this day I still think about that and become irrationally angry from time to time.

Maybe this will help alleviate the anger?

And If I could figure out how to post an unit l image in comments from Sync or to get Imgur to unlink my account from Facebook I'd show you pictures.

My colleagues conspired against me, stole my keys, got me in a meeting across campus, and filled my car to the top with balloons. Best working day this year!!

At least it was good hearted fun and your baby isn't damaged! That does indeed help alleviate the anger and is also heartwarming bc they must be fond of you to have done that!

Also regarding you trying to post the image, I haven't seen the feature in any of the apps I've tried except for Boost for Lemmy which just released a few days ago. The interface of Boost to add a picture I just tap the little image looking icon you see on top of the keyboard there then choose an image. Not downing other Lemmy apps, some of them are great but personally boost has been the most useful.

I don't work for boost btw just love it, had quit reddit over them shutting it down (essentially) it was the best app I've ever used for reddit and so far it's been the best on Lemmy and makes everything on here so easy.

I'll give it a go, thank you!
