It's surreal. I am sitting here with her sleeping on my lap as mom gets some much needed rest.

Congrats! You are on the car of a rollercoaster about to start.

It’s going to be awesome, it’s going to be messy, there is no way back and no way down.

A couple of sure things:

Your life will never be the same again (and I am sure it will be for the better)
Sleep sleep sleep! Take turns with her mums, take naps, sleep at work… do whatever it takes but it’s paramount that you and her mum gets sleep

Enjoy the journey and these moments in particular 😃
