I suggest you use fediseer on your instance if you want to keep up.
What exactly do you mean? I've been meaning to set up Fediseer but I haven't gotten around to learning about it, and would appreciate any guidance you could give me
With fediseer you can Endorse instances and then you can follow the blocks those instances do. So for example you endorse lemmy.world and literature.cafe and when either one of them adds an instance to their blocklist on fediseer they will also be blocked on your instance.
You can even follow those blocks just for certain tags. Let's say you don't want to follow for "inactive admins" but you do want to follow for "neo-nazis" and "CSAM".
It's pretty cool and the functionality keeps expanding. Before it was more like a ring of trust but the developers have really been listening to what the community wanted and there has been a ton of progress. It's created by @db0@lemmy.dbzer0.com and @rikudou@lemmings.world who added the gui and loads of extra features.

If you need any help, do let me know (on Matrix, preferably, but I can do PMs) and I can help set you up.
