I've been using a hireling, Sir Fuzzalump, to address your second point. He serves as my party's camp Alchemist(Transmutation Wizard 2/Knowledge Cleric 9/Rogue 1) and transfer all of the ingredients to him no stash required. I just transfer him into my party at the end of a long rest, do his buff routine(Warding Bond, Longstrider, etc), process all the Alchemy Ingredients, and make/pass out the day's Elixirs, before shunting him back out of the party.
This is a great idea that I am going to steal.
Me too
What elixirs do you tend to make? I like using the elixirs that I picked up but never really got into the alchemy aspect of the game
Elixir of Bloodlust, Elixir of Battlemage's Prowess, Elixir of the Colossus, Potions of Speed, and Potions of Flying are the best.
Elixir of Viciousness, Elixir of Vigilance, Elixir of Universal Resistance, Elixir of Peerless Focus, and Elixir of See Invisibility are on the next tier down. These are good for non-boss days.
Haste Spore Grenades are nice but the ingredients are rare. Same with Crawler Mucus.
