@ruud@lemmy.world I am having trouble editing this post further. When I edit and click save, it just keeps spinning and never finishes.

Any tips on how to get around it?

Could you check how many characters it is? There seems to be an issue with long posts. I will create an issue for the devs if there isn’t one already

Could be 10k round actually. This lorem ipsum post fails at 10,001 character https://lemmy.world/post/639394

Hmm that sux. Don't see if they did something to fix that. I could try raising that to 50000 by editing the file but that would be un-done after every upgrade...

Well to me it looks like they resolved it, and increased the limit to 50k, so I guess in the next release you will update the server? For now, I can be more conservative with the characters.

Not confirmed, but it seems like it starts failing at 9810 characters
