No. I had a German exchange student once. She told us a joke that was a simple statement of fact and nearly fell out of the chair busting herself up, and we were still waiting for the set-up, never and the punchline. Basically, German humor boils down to schadenfreude (no, really, she thought other people suffering was peak comedy) and statements of fact.
Edit: and sturgeons, apparently. Ngl, the sturgeon stuff gives me some hope for them.
