I’ve been on Concerta 27mg (started at 18mg) for about 2 months now, and I’ll admit, I feel like I could be taking sugar pills. I’ve been told by my GP that I should just wait a little longer before upping the dosage, though I’m not even sure how much of an effect that might have.

I’m still unable to point my focus at anything, and my working memory is just as crap as ever. (Even tried to empirically measure how often I lose things… still at least once a day!)

Did you have an obvious lightbulb moment of some feeling, after starting meds?

Is the plan to move to amphetamines if this doesn't work? Because concerta and the non-amphetamine drugs have very low success rates as far as I know. With amphetamines it's basically immediate

Concerta is timed-release Ritalin, so it’s also an amphetamine. Which makes it all the more weird! No elevated heart rate (as far as I can tell), no anxiety, no euphoria, nothing you’d expect from stimulants.

Ritalin/Concerta (methylphenidate) are not classified as amphetamines, but they are still central nervous system stimulants. Good to hear concerta is not causing any anxiety/heart rate issues for you though!
