The rules for posting and commenting, besides the rules defined here for lemmy.world, are as follows:
Rules

6. Memes are not allowed to be posts, but are allowed in the comments.
7. Posts from clickbait sources are heavily discouraged. Please de-clickbait titles if it needs to be submitted.
8. Submission statements of any length composed of your own thoughts inside the post text field are mandatory for any microblog posts, and are optional but recommended for article/image/video posts.

Never had problem with any microsd card and I've been running them in smartphones since 2010. It's not hard to buy a decent card.
Shrug I guess I just "actually use my phone for stuff".
Not wanting to suck Spotifys dick shouldn't be a niche use case.
Absolutely, we use MicroSD all the time for our Raspberry Pis, It's fast compact and cheap.
These phones only have USB2, so for fast transfer, you have to use something cloud based. A MicroSD would have been nice.
Streaming uses more battery and you can't do it in the backwoods.
I have absolutely no clue how that could work? Didn't they install the SD cards themselves?
OK, I guess that kind of customers exist. I've personally been selling computers back from the mid 80's to the mid 90's, I've never had that kind of customer. Not even once. Kind of strange, considering how bad I hear things can be.
Considering the USB is only 2.0 it might have been handy in some cases.
