No body, all title

edit: actually, I can access other communities on .world, which means I'm probably banned? How to check and contact mods about it? Pretty sure I haven't broken any rules

edit 2: found the modlog and I haven't found anything about mods banning me

It isn't, I even made a post in it a couple weeks ago. It's PC Master Race community

https://lemmy.ml/c/pcmasterrace@lemmy.world

If I log out I see recent posts and comments, so others can access it without problems

I'm guessing the community was banned and purged by lemmy.ml.

edit: Their modlog says that they removed this community.

No idea why I didn't think about checking lemmy.ml modlog, so thanks! Problem solved! Now I realize I had misunderstood defederation haha thanks again, guess I'll make a second account on .world

You're welcome. I think there should be a better way to communicate a removed or banned community. Maybe like a "removed/banned community for X reason" sign instead of the "community_not_found" error page.

That would be a quick and easy fix, hopefully at some point we'll have it!

Hi there! Looks like you linked to a Lemmy community using a URL instead of its name, which doesn't work well for people on different instances. Try fixing it like this: !pcmasterrace@lemmy.world

I have this happen to me too and I too use lemmy.ml, the API returns 404 couldnt find community with my credentials, did lemmy.ml block the community?

[-] bec@lemmy.ml 1 points 1 year ago

Follow up: lemmy.ml modlog says they removed pc master race community (which I just learn it's not defederation), meaning we need a different account to access it

That's what happens to me as well! I did a websearch for "lemmy defederation status" or something like that, and no defederation has happened between the two, in neither direction!
