I enjoy reading new scientific discoveries whether it is about space, new footprints, new buildings found, etc.

I really enjoy the New Scientist app but it's $10 a month. I've looked at a couple of other apps but they just don't hit the spot. Does anyone have any recommendations?

I'm using android if that matters

Why do you need an app? What is the problem with plain old websites?

Pro tip: use an rss reader and you can read multiple "apps" at one place!

If you still need apps for some reason, you can install/add to homescreen websites, and if they are set up correctly they will behave like an app.

Yes. If you need cached articles for offline reading, RSS apps like Feeder can do that too.
