Windows 10, but I've been considering switching to Linux Manjaro as that's the Linux OS I was recommended. The main things that are stopping me though is that I'm lazy about backing up all my files, and I don't want to redownload a million different things.
If the person who recommended you Manjaro is close by (say, a room mate) and will help you if it breaks, then by all means go for it. I used it for about a year and found it quite prone to breaking, which usually wasn't fatal, but was quite annoying after a while. If it's your first Linux distro and you don't have a friendly support guy close by, I'd recommend you look around a bit more.
Ah, well this isn't someone I talk to very much. Thanks for the warning.
What distro would others' recommend?
IMO, go with either Fedora Workstation or Pop! OS (I would probably lean towards Pop! OS since its your first experience with Linux)
