I hate this shit so fucking much. I also fight this nonsense wherever I can.
In my area, someone puts up these signs saying that they'll "Buy ANY house!" and use a phone number without the area code so older people will think "They didn't use their area code, they MUST be local!". My state has forced area codes in the number for over 20 years now; Most no one thinks that shit anymore unless they're like 80 years old. It's quite clear that it's just Blackrock or some equivalent buying up local property. I rip down those fucking signs whenever I can.
We get them through the door. Jokes on them; a ghoul already owns the place.
