FDA warns chemical company not to mix brake cleaner into hand sanitizer
(arstechnica.com)
For news articles which seem so much like satire that you're surprised they're not from The Onion.
The company is not putting brake cleaner into hand sanitizer.
They are using some equipment to make both products, which creates the possibility of cross contamination.
Not good or safe practices, but not spiking hand sanitizer with nasty stuff on purpose, as the title suggests.
Still pretty shitty to do, considering they've already been warned about it and should know better.
I usually hate clickbait word games like that, too, but this particular situation is serious enough that I don’t mind.
Gross negligence counts as intent IMHO
Ain't there are rules in place if products will be sold to a normie consumer ?
