A "Showerthought" is a simple term used to describe the thoughts that pop into your head while you're doing everyday things like taking a shower, driving, or just daydreaming. A showerthought should offer a unique perspective on an ordinary part of life.
Rules

- The entire showerthought must be in the title
- Avoid politics

... if it really was SVG format it would be much greater quality.
They may have made the classic "let's batch-optimize all images for the web" or maybe using a CDN provider, either with wrong settings.
Yeah SVG would make it almost endlessly scalable.
