Harrison Ford was the best Jack Ryan. It's an often overlooked part of his career
I saw Patriot Games before I read any of those books, so I had Harrison Ford as the character already in my mind.
Oof... I have to hand this one to Alec Baldwin, but that's more for the writing than actual acting, Ford in that one would have been interesting.
