The student said that customs officer coerced to sign documents saying that she had entered the US illegally and that she agreed with her own deportation.

This was signed under duress, but never sign documents like this if you can help it. Don't even sign a document saying "person X talked to me about Y", it can be used against you in court later to say that you agreed to Y at the time.
