deleted comments would take out the entire tree - you couldn't really see the rest of the comments beneath it unless you came at one of them with a direct link.

Since I am a serial offender when it comes to deleting any of my regretted comments, I'd get a little thrill noticing that deleted comments would take out the entire tree. Mwah-ah-AH

Yeah hah I swear one or two comment chain arguments I had with people were tactically deleted. Now it swings the other way!
